During my travels through Southeast Asia, Serenity became my home away from home. Collectively, I spent almost 2 months living there and I would continue doing so if I had the choice! The villa has such a positive and laid back energy that makes you feel safe and comfortable as soon as you walk in. I stayed in a dorm each time and found them perfectly fine (coming from someone who usually hates dorms!) They are very thoroughly cleaned every day, new towels and bedding every 3 days, even the fellow guests in the dorms I found to be very respectful of each other, and the lights are usually off around 10pm, which is perfect for waking up for those 7am yoga classes ;) The reception staff were more than accommodating and so extremely friendly, especially Aditya, Willi, and Ryan. They were each so helpful to me whenever I needed something, and would always greet me by my name and with a smile, and welcome me back each time I stayed there. It was a nice feeling to return "home" to :) The yoga at Serenity is also amazing!!! Each day I spent there, I did at least 2 classes per day. They have so many different options to choose from, for beginners or advanced, power yoga or slow, and fun classes in between like aerial or acro yoga. And the teachers are truly amazing! Kartana was one of my favourites, with his simple yet precise direction, without overcomplicating things, he made it easy for me to finally learn most poses as well as their Sanskrit names. I loved his classes! Side was also great! His adjustments for the beginner students were very helpful, but made sure to focus on the advanced students as well by assisting them into further more difficult variations. And always smiling ear to ear! Charlotte's Yin/Restorative classes were also very special to me. Attend one of these classes and you'll walk away feeling like you just went to therapy. I learned a lot about myself during her classes and I highly recommend them to absolutely everyone, for overall better mental health. Serenity in general has possibly been the best mid-range accommodations I've ever stayed at. They've thought of everything from a free water refill station, free mosquito repellant, recycling literally everything and doing ALL things environmentally friendly, having a golf cart shuttle available for short trips nearby, just to name a few. And that's on top of the high level of cleanliness they uphold, as well as having a delicious vegan restaurant too! Since I stayed there for almost 2 months, I feel it is my duty to share why I returned time and time again. I hope this review is helpful to other travellers! Thank you Serenity for making me feel at home, something that was special to me after constantly travelling for 6+ months straight. Best of luck with business in the future!

Everything in this place is perfect! I took the class of Ashtanga yoga with Fernando for a month and this is was my first approach to this kind of yoga. What to say... I totally fall in love with it! Fernando is an amazing teacher, he's really an inspiring person and he really helps you to understand your body and your breathe. The location is perfect, nothing is too much and you're constantly surrounded by nature, genuine people and good vibes! Thanks Fernando, thanks to all the Serenity staff! See you soon! :)

During my stay in Canggu I did several drop-in yoga classes at Serenity and was not disappointed. The guesthouse has a nice and calm atmosphere and the yoga teachers are very skilled and professional. Might consider staying here as well the next time I visit Bali.

I just finished my one week solo package at Serenity, and all I can say is that one week is not long enough! Serenity is not just your average guesthouse, it's full of life and character. The place itself felt like home and all the staff from reception, to housekeeping, to the owners, and even the shuttle drivers, as well as fellow guests felt like family. They have successfully created a wonderful haven for yogis, surfers, and any travellers. The location is so mindfully situated in a quieter part of Canggu, and the beauty lies in the fact that it's only a mere 3 minute walk from the beach (even if you walk super slowly!)

I will definitely be back for longer! Thank you Dewi, Ayu, Alit, Edi, Findi for the heartfelt hospitality and for always going the extra mile on even the most mundane requests. Thank you to all the yoga teachers who have inspired me and touched my life in a way that it will never be the same again.

If you are seeking to go deeper in your practice, or just want a quiet yet vibrant place to stay close to the beach, I highly recommend Serenity because it's just filled with so much genuine kindness and love! Not to mention their in-house restaurant, Alkaline, serves the freshest and healthiest food at very affordable prices.
Light, love, and energy! Keep up all the good work! :) xx

During my stay in Bali I stayed at guesthouse called Serenity Eco Guesthouse. I booked for a bed in their dorm room sharing a room with 4 other people mostly backpackers. For the 4 nights I only paid approximately $60 SGD! The Guesthouse was fantastic! It is a family run business and you could feel the love and hardwork they put into their business. They offered daily Yoga classes, (which were soo awesome btw.), bicycle and motor bike rental services, surf lesson and much more! In addition to that they only offered healthy hearty meals at their restaurant! If I ever go back to Canggu I am most definitely staying there again!

The food t alkaline restaurant is the best ever, raw food as well at cheap prices. The staff are son accommodating and can't do enough to help. I was supposed to stay three nights and ended up extending 8 days.. I found this haven of peace while trying to avoid the crowded Kuta. Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere, good restaurant, clean rooms and facilities.. Close to the ocean, bars, restaurants (and excellent surf spots) You can hardly expect more for such a correct price. On a more personal notice, I will always be thankful for discovering Yoga.. Special mention to Fernando and Krishna ! See you soon guys !
